i think cara is similar with good ol deviantart. people with similar hobby hanging around and appreciate each others. if your purpose is to find client and make money, probably it's not for you.

Cara is a beautiful idea but also an echo chamber. i think it's useful to have both ig and cara to reach out to both artists and non artists

"Artists" doesn't have an apostrophe

But since this is a place for "artists" it wont help you reach customers if you are using to get your work out there. The only people who will see your work is other artists.

They are really responsive and do work well at low pressure! Big difference between this and a eclipse

Nice video........Any small tip brush will work equally well, you don't have to pay extra just because of the brand name. The same goes for the airbrush cleaning solution. You're paying a premium for the brand name. Just get a spay bottle of Fantastic, or simple green that you can spray into the cup. By buying manufacturer named products you're paying much, much much, much more. than you need to to get the same results. Spend the money you're going to save on more models and have fun.............

A little bit of yellow & orange, on the flames, would have been nice.

As much as people would think it takes to much time i prefer to freehand everything. It challenges me to get better as an artist every time. Most tools just become crutches. I rarely even use masks or shields of any kind.

Why would you nit at least wipe out the inside of the cup with a paper towel? it makes no sense to just leave that paint in there when you can easily wipe most of it out.

As a new airbrush user for scale modelling, this is a great help. Looking to use it for all my painting from flat surfaces to camouflage

I have both and I love them. I have an iwatta HCPS and for me the mobious are better. It also seems like the paint comes out smoother.

Mine has just arrived. I have a couple of others from them and I can’t fault the quality or performance.

When it comes to these brushes I always hear the same thing about "time will tell" like its a car or computer or something. Its an airbrush. The things that are likely to go if any over time are the seals, noozles and needles. Which are all easily replaced. The housing itself will last for many years to come. Even if the chrome decides to miraculously fall off one day (unlikely) the airbrush will still function. I say dont abuse it. Take care of your brush and it will take care of you.

I used an HP-C for years as my workhorse. The HP series are great brushes. When I was at Death Row Motorcycles I had access to an HP-C Highline. The Highline series is Iwata's best brush outside of the Micron.

How do you switch between colors and not waste a lot of product? Clean it in between?

Spent a whole day and nothing, paint doesnt come out I tried all sorts of thinning ratios and adjusting needle etc. Paint even started to bubble up in the feeder, went to clean it and I was washing it so much the needle cap feel through the drain.. Grrrrrr.. I have like e silverados polished up ready go customize and sht just got worse... Wish I could pay someone to come personally and teach me!. I'm going to see if I can return it or exchange otherwise I lost out on a new gun lol.

Never, ever pull a needle out of an airbrush with paint, or anything else in it. You are simply allowing the paint, or whatever, to flow into places it shouldn't be. And never pull a paint covered needle out the back of the airbrush. Again, you are introducing paint into places it shouldn't be.
